Foundation and Walk Volunteers
The Long Beach AIDS
Foundation / AIDS Walk Long Beach is an all-volunteer
organization. The Foundation hosts many events
throughout the year to provide education and raise funds
for HIV/AIDS service and prevention organizations.
Volunteers are the "Life
Blood" of any organization. We also partner with
the James McElroy Foundation to connect volunteers with
other partner HIV/AIDS organizations. Both organizations
need volunteers and both organizations ensure that your
volunteer experiences are rewarding, fun and
appreciated. Click on

HOW TO GET INVOLVED
Whether
you're looking for a relaxing evening
activity or a challenging project tailored
to your skills, there is a place for
everyone at the Long Beach AIDS Foundation office.
In January, we'll begin staffing for
volunteers for the events all year long and
for the ramp-up to AIDS Walk Long Beach in
June. When you contact us, we will
inquire as to your availability, skills,
desires, specialties and interests.
We also
partner with JMAC Foundation who provide
volunteers to other HIV/AIDS organizations
in the Los Angeles, Long Beach and Orange
County areas. JMAC connects talented,
caring individuals -- through support,
volunteerism and education -- to
organizations making a difference in the
lives of those affected by IV/AIDS in our
community. Please visit the JMAC link for
more information about their Foundation and
to volunteer.
Both
organization value you as our volunteers and
subscribe to a Volunteer Code of Ethics and
a Volunteer Treatment Philosophy. We
both want you to enjoy your experience as a
volunteer and evaluate your experience
through surveys.
